Although I had not seen him for a while, Bishop Steward was in my life from birth until I left San Bernardino at the age of 18. He was my brother's God Father but we all shared him. We will miss him very much.

I will truely miss my great grandpa (Big Daddy). He was the best great grandpa you could ever have. The one thing i remember the most is that he always called me his Big Girl, and he was very proud when i praised danced for him. I love you and you will truely be missed.

Being the oldest granddaughter I have alot of memories, the cadillac with plush burgundy on the inside, his matching burgundy robe, and brim. Being raised as a preachers grandchild you were always in church, had to hold a position in church, I used to say I couldn't wait til i was 18 so i could stop goin, however I thank my Big Daddy for having us in church and involved. I am now 42 years old Coordinator of Children's Ministry and my daughter praise dance all because of what Big Daddy taught me. He will truly be missed and loved so much. The lesson he instilled in my father is the lessons my father instilled in me. Thank you Big Daddy for everything.

My big daddy makes me remember going to the lake and fishing in his 1959 cadillac. My big daddy would pick me up everyday from school, and we would talk about life. He was a wonderful man who I will dearly miss. I will never forget how he taught our family to love and respect one another, and always to put God first in everything you do. My big daddy wanted his family to have the best in life, and he made sure we all knew the value of working to get what you want. I love big daddy for everything he taught me about life.

Although I only met Bishop Stewart on one occassion, I did have the pleasure of working with his son, Kenneth. I know Kenneth is a fine example of being raised by a very good family. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.
