John Wesley Whetstone

John Wesley Whetstone was born in the township of Benton, Pattonsburg, Missouri on December 9, 1918 and passed away peacefully in his home on April 18, 2014. John is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jean. He leaves loving memories to his daughter, Gail Whetstone; his two grandchildren, Sean Sullivan and Bren Watts and his six great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his dear son, John Wesley Whetstone, Jr. John served his country honorably in WWII and the Korean War. His remains will be placed in the columbarium at Riverside National Cemetery with full military honors on May 22nd at 11:15 am. Please sign the guest book at www.presstelegram.com/obits.
