I think of my dear friend Jon pretty much every day. From the movies we saw together, to the dinners, to the crazy one day Vegas (in August!) trip to walk the strip and pick up shot glasses, to seeing the Blair Witch on the Skyway thing at the San Diego zoo..I have so many precious memories of him. He was one of the funniest and most fun people I ever knew. I´m glad he let me join his Special People Club

Jon lived next door to a condominium we owned in the Grandview building in downtown Seattle. He was always nice to our tenants and they spoke of how friendly and welcoming Jon was. My encounters with Jon (in the parking garage, in the hallways, elevator, condominium board meetings) were brightened by his smile and his effervescent personality. I enjoyed the multiple discussions I had with him and Chris, sitting in their beautiful newly remodeled unit, viewing their wild Halloween costumes, and talking about tech industry and overweight pets. Eleven years later, I remember Jon fondly and reflect on what a loss of such a bright light to the world.

Jonathan, I wish I had known you. I hear so many cool stories about you. You were funny, kind, wise, and OBVIOUSLY handsome! I hope you are resting in peace. Always, Treva

Jonathan,
My heart aches everyday when I pick up my phone to call you.. And then I will remember an inside joke we had or an adventure we shared and then my sadness is immediately replaced with laughter, a smile, a tear... I miss you so much...

Chris,

It was an honor and a privilege to provide nursing care to Jon several months ago and a pleasure to meet you both. You two seemed so sweet together. I'm sending you healing, positive thoughts and prayers during this difficult and emotional time.

Jon was such a great guy with a bright smile that lit up the room-he will be missed! He was such a exceptional supervisor that always encouraged us. Sad to have lasted only a short time after his diagnosis-but we cannot choose our time. RIP Jon- Sandy Parker

We will miss you Jon- and your bright smile! It seems strange to know he is gone only after 7 months-but we do not get to choose our time. This I know since I found out I have a brain tumor in January. Jon was such a great supervisor and valued within the Nordstrom family - he will be missed! His memory will live on.... Sandy Parker

Jon was a vibrant spirit whose sense of humor and beautiful smile will remain as cherished memories of mine forever. The stars are twinkling a little brighter at night because he is working his magic on them now.

Jon was a great cyber-friend on Twitter and Facebook. We never had the chance to meet in person, but across the Internet he was a charming, intelligent friend.
