Josephine Cosenza Obituary

JOSEPHINE COSENZA passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on September 26, 2010. Jo, as she was known to family and friends was born on September 20, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York. She is preceded in death by her one true love, Nicholas Cosenza. They moved to California in 1948, lived for a year in Los Angeles, then moved to Pomona to raise their family, Maria Anderson, Joanne Schwary (Dennis) and Angela Glatfelter. In 1979 they moved to Upland. Jo was dedicated to her family. She was an expert seamstress by trade, she loved creating beautiful things. She was an excellent cook, everything she made tasted wonderful! She was loved deeply by her five grandchildren David Glatfelter (Theresa), Kristen Anderson, Deena Warmington (Jimmy), Nicole Johnson (Damon) and Lauren Ramos (Ricky). In recent years with the births of her 10 great-grandchilden, Jo was affectionately called GG. Paige, Lily, and Charlotte Warmington, Soren Burgan, Preston and Brooks Johnson, Nicholas and Joseph Ramos, Mason and Parker Glatfelter, will miss their GG very much. We'll be loving you "Always".
