Lurline Copeland Obituary

COPELAND-Lurline Avalon Copeland, passed away September 19, 2010 at the age of 87. She was born in Yerington, NV on May 28, 1923. In 1943 she married Warner W. Kirkpatrick and had a son, William V. Kirkpatrick. She then married Fay H. Copeland, who had a son, Wayne H. Copeland and daughter, Carol A. Graves. They were married 52 years until his death. Mrs. Copeland is predeceased by Wayne H. Copeland. She is survived by William and Janis Kirkpatrick, and Carol and Ken Graves. She has 6 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Lurline was a very talented artist with her medium in mostly oils. She was a wonderful seamstress and was known for her delicious meals. The family spent many holidays at her home. She sang in the Bethany Baptist choir, the Chorolettes, belonged to the "Hook-ups", an RV Club and the Covina Dance Club. Donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association at ALZ.org or 800-272-3900. Service is 9:00a.m Sat., September 25, 2010 at Forest Lawn, Covina Hills, CA
