My dearest auntie.... You are always in my heart for your blood is my blood line and you are so close to me. You were always full of energy and loved the same things I did... muscle cars, a good laugh and life. You took a lot of lemons and made lemonade. You kept the family tradition and passed away the day before a family birthday. You were one brave lady. You were my second mom..... what else can I say... you are so missed. May you be at peace... I will join you once again one of these fine days... love you always, Lou.....

My dearest Auntie Marie.. the one of my dad's sisters that I was most like. I shared your spirit of driving a "great car"; one with a few horses under the hood. Also love gardening and talking to friends, usually over lunch. And yes, I too would chat up people and enjoyed hearing their life story. You never you never wanted to be "old" because you liked to do "young" things. You were so very, very good to me and I hope that I returned good, loving memories to you also. You were one brave lady to say good bye to this world by your own choice and let a blood clot take you away. That took such courage. My only regret is that we didn't get to visit as much as I would have liked, for I was taking care of the seniors of my family too. I am so glad you had your devoted daughter in law, Connie, to care for you. You gave to her and she returned that care. she said you loved all the letters I sent, so I hope you found some joy in those. I think of you so often... may you rest in peace in the house of the Lord, for God knows you didn't find much peace in this world. I love you so much... your niece, Lou Ellen deDoes Bowling.
