Mary Righter Obituary

Passed away, Monday morning, September 13, 2010. She was 90 years young. Mary was born in North Bay Ontario, Cananda, and moved to Chicago, Il., when she was 6 years old. She became a naturalized citizen in 1955. Mary and her husband Ben, moved to California in 1945. They raised 5 children together until he passed in 1987, and she was still in their home when she passed. She lived a full life. She loved Hawaii, and Betty Boop. She knew all the Hawaiian music, and dances, and she played the guitar, steel guitar, and the ukelele. She will be joining her son, Daryl Righter and her great grandson, Nicholas Manzo. She is survived by her children, Gayle Clancey, Sharon Manzo, Darcy Rager, and Duane Righter; her grandchildren, Robert and Steve Clancey, Cathy Gellinck, Jim and Joe Manzo, Jason and Justin Righter, and Jennifer Roberts; her great-grand children, Camron, Hayden, and Brandon Clancey, Kelliann and Tyler Gellinck, Amanda, Jack, and Sterling Clancey, Vincent and Journey Manzo, Anthony and Alivia Alveraz, Gia Hernandez, and Annie, Mallory and Gavin Righter. If you wish to join us to celebrate, my Mom's, 90 years, of a good life, Services will be held, Saturday, September 18, 2010, 5:00pm, at Encino Community Church, 7769 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Canoga Park, California (818) 456-2077.
