MIKE STRICKLAND Obituary

MIKE STRICKLAND left this life on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010, for a better one in eternity with our Lord. He was born in San Bernardino on June 5, 1956, and was a lifelong resident here. As a boy he loved playing the guitar, singing, dancing, baseball, wrestling & rodeos, but was happiest when he was fishing. His relationship with Christ enabled him to be a victor over the battles he faced during his life. He is survived by his father, Frank Strickland; sister, Kathy Smith; and extended family and friends. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, Sept. 24, 2010, at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. View Cemetery, 570 East Highland Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92404. Those wishing to make donations in memory of Mike, can make them to either: The Center for Individuals with Disabilities, 8088 Palm Lane, San Bernardino, CA, or Del Rosa United Methodist Church, 3350 Del Rosa Avenue, San Bernardino, CA 92404.
