My sincere condolences to Nora's family. My mom, Roxanna (who passed in 2004), was Nora's insurance agent years back and I remember she just loved Nora and always had such nice things to say about her. All these years later, I still remember hearing about her when I helped out in the office.

My name is Dawn (Desmond) Brainard, I had Mrs. Hula in (I think) 7th Grade at Cedargrove. She was the best teacher! She was so funny and full of life. She was very well known, especially to the boys, for putting on a heavy coat of bright red lipstick then walking over and kissing, whoever had disrupted her during class, all over his face. He was not allowed to leave the classroom to go wash his face until the bell rang. Everyone could always tell who just got in trouble in Mrs. Hula's class when the bell rang and he would go running across the school to the nearest bathroom! She was a great teacher and a wonderful woman. My prayers go out to her family. She was quite a lady.
