Peter J. Kovats

PETER KOVATS 1949 ~ 2010 Peter J. Kovats "Pete" was born November 7, 1949 in Szegvar, Hungary and pass away on October 20, 2010. He attended John Mural High School in Pasadena in, CA in 1963 and later joined the Army in January in 1967 and received an honorable discharge in January 1970. Peter was a devoted father he loved to take his sons camping, fishing and to the Y Indian Guides for over ten years. In 1980 he joined the historical club E Clampus Vitus and held numerous positions within the organization. In 1970 Peter started his career in carpentry first as an apprentice cabinet maker and retired as a finish carpenter journeyman after 40 years. Peter Enjoyed life, family and friends to the fullest until the Lord called him home on October 20th 2010. He leaves his cherish memories to his fiance Rose Jaimson of Victorville, CA; three sons, Eric (Shawna)of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Matthew (Angie) of Los Angeles , Jason (Tirsa) of San Bernardino, CA. As well as four step children; Xaiverre of Victorville, CA, Trinity (Phillip) of Victorville, CA, Nicole (Taraun) of Victorville, CA, Isaiah of Victorville. He also had twelve grandchildren: Gordon , Lola Rose, Juliana, Anthony, Jason (JJ), Bethany, Elijah, Gabby, Xaiverre Jr, Devon, Faith, Christian and a host of family and friends. Service place and time: Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 224. W. California St., Ontario, CA 91764. Friday October 29th, 2010 at 1PM.
