I never had the pleasure of meeting Rick or Carol; but hoped to when next I visit Las Vegas. there's is the first on-line arthritis site that I found and it has helped me (& countless others) tremendously.

No words could really express the deep true love that comes from being brothers- it comes from the heart feelings felt in the many years and moments shared in this life and the many more to be shared in the life here after. I will miss you till we meet again. Love you, Steve

RIch was so very loved and respected, as the co-writers of the About.com/arthritis articles. He was indeed and "arthritis angel", who gave advice and friendship to all that knew him. I had a chance to eat lunch once while we were vacationing in Vegas, and his compassion and love for Carol really shone thru. He will be greatly missed. Carol, we love you and are here for you if ever there is anything we can do.
