RICHARD LEON SHELTON

Age 82, of Northridge, California passed away on November 2, 2010. He was born to a farming family in Quitaque, Texas on January 7, 1928. They moved from Texas, Colorado, Oregon and settled in California in the early forties.He graduated from UCLA, served two years in the army during the Korean War, and married his beloved wife, Janet V. Harris on February 3, 1952. Dick was an entrep reneur in many businesses and retired to play golf, go camping and travel. He is survived by his wife, Jan; daughters, Linda (Greg), Elaine (Bill), Lori; 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends. A memorial service is being held at the Congregational Church of Northridge on Tuesday, November 9th at 11:00AM, 9659 Balboa Ave., Northridge, CA 91325.
