ROSLYN CHESTER

died on Sept 16th in Rancho Cucamonga California. She was born June 5th, 1923 in St. Paul Minnesota. While in high school she met her husband of 63 years, Harold, who proceeded her in death in 2004. Roslyn loved helping others and volunteered at the food bank in Pomona for many years. She was an active member of Temple Beth Israel in Pomona California. Roslyn is survived by three children, Steven Chester (Leona), Leonard Chester (Susan) Tama Travis (William) and six grand- children, Adam (Keng), Patricia (Ryan), Shira, Jonathan Rebecca(Brian), and Rachel as well as three great-grand children, Anna, Ashlyn and Aiden. Services will be held on Tuesday Sept 21 at 11 AM at Mt Sinai Memorial Park in Hollywood Hills, CA, followed by a gathering at Temple Beth Israeli in Pomona. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Temple Beth Israel 3033 North Towne Ave. Pomona California 91767 or a donation to a charity of your choice.
