Pa, the specific and clear memories I have of you are few, but that only makes them all the more meaningful...like when you were teaching me to play checkers and would let me jump you from any place on the board. :) But mostly, I remember the scruffiness of your cheek as you'd kiss me and the drawl of your voice when you'd call me "shug" I'm so glad that both you and Granny are finally at rest together. I love you both so much!

Granny, I love you so much. Thank you for everything you've given me and our family. If any of us become half the inspiration you were we will be so lucky.
Your loving great-granddaughter,
Katie
