THEDA BEATRICE WEAVER

passed away on October 26, 2010, in Grapevine, Texas. Her daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Art Elsner, and her son Richard were present at her passing. She died as a result of complications from surgery to repair a broken femur, caused by a fall. Theda was born in Boonville, NY, on May 26, 1919, the daughter of Newton and Maude Gleasman. She was united in marriage on September 9, 1943, to John Weaver, also of Boonville. In the late 1940s, they moved to southern California. Theda was predeceased by her husband John and her oldest son, Robert. Besides her daughter, son-in-law, and son, she is survived by a daughter-in-law, Teresa Fung, and granddaughter, Marcie Elsner. A memorial service is being arranged at the United Methodist Church in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Interment will be with her husband at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California.
