Virginia Licon Obituary

LICON-Virginia A. Sister, Aunt, and Friend A life long resident of Pasadena, she was surrounded by family on September 8, 2010 when she went to be with The Lord. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her brother Ramon; sister Ana (Roger) Adams; nephews Steve, Tirrell (Kathryn) Siniske, Frankie, Terry, Carlos, Glen, and Arnold; nieces Teresa and Renee; grandnephews Cody, Corey; and Grandniece Nicole. Virginia was preceded in death by parents Frank and Nellie Licon ; brother Frank Jr.; and grandparents Arnulfo " Tony " and Mary Contreras. She attended St. Philips and Assumption B.V.M. Schools, and graduated from Pasadena High School. She received her AA Degree from PCC and a BA Degree in Spanish from Cal State L.A. She had worked at Cal Tech as a Executive Assistant, and the last four years at Unity Church in East Pasadena as a Administrator Assistant. Virginia had a great love for animals. In lieu of flowers a donation made in her name to Pasadena Human Society would make her smile. On September 20, 2010 she was laid to rest at Mountain View Cemetery. Cabot & Sons, Pasadena
