VLADIMIR JORDAN

Vladimir passed away peacefully at home on September 27, 2010 after ongoing health issues. Devoted husband to Jeannea, father of three sons, and grandfather to eight grandchildren. He was born October 26, 1928 in the former Yugoslavia. Vladimir immigrated to the United States in the late 50's first landing in Cleveland, Ohio, and then settling in Southern California. He loved the warm weather of the west coast and convinced his sister Branka, and her husband, to join him. Vladimir worked at General Motors as an electrician for 30+ years and also obtained his contractor's license during this time. He was the epitome of what this country looked for in newly arriving immigrants. Vladimir loved his family, loved life, and loved a good game of chess. His compassion for others will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on line in his name to the Parkinson's Research Foundation.
