Coerper, Mary M. (nee Kohlman)
Mary M. Coerper (nee Kohlman), 87, McFarland, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.
She was born on June 14, 1926, in Cascade, the daughter of the late Ralph and Marion (Smith) Kohlman. Mary was married to James Anthony Morgan on August 23, 1947. He died on December 15, 1964.
She was a graduate of St. Mary's Springs Academy in Fond du Lac and the University of Wisconsin, Madison, School of Commerce.
Mary was a member of Theta Phi Alpha Sorority of UW-Madison, American Association of University Women, San Diego Cyclo-Vets, and the Senior Olympics (Bicycling).
She was an avid golfer, runner, and bridge player.
Survivors include her children, Daniel (Cordelia) Morgan of St. Paul, MN; Brian (Anne) Morgan of Janesville; Jim (Krista) Morgan of Breckenridge, CO; Jerry (Ann) Morgan of Corona, CA; Teresa (John) Koepsel of McFarland; Mary-Jo (Louis) Lessor of Stoughton; grandchildren, James (Katie) Morgan, Jennifer Morgan, Katy, Marty, and James "Rocky" Morgan, Rachel, Brendan, and Shane Morgan, Morgan (Cory) Schuchardt, Erin Koepsel, Patrick and Maggie Lessor; one sister, Ceil Tracy of Sheboygan Falls; two sisters-in-law, Betty Kohlman and Liz Kohlman both of Albuquerque, NM; a special niece, Karen Schoepke of Albuquerque, NM; other relatives and friends.
Also preceding in death were two brothers, Earl and Neil Kohlman, a grandson, Jeremy Morgan, and a brother-in-law, Joe Tracy.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013, at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson with Father Brian J. Wilk as celebrant. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. on Saturday at the church until the time of service.
If desired, memorials may be directed to the San Diego Cyclo-Vets.
