Jorge Cortez Jorge passed away on January 20, 2015 at the age of 54. He was a great Father, Husband, Brother, Son, Friend and Grandfather. Creighton, Jo Anne  
Creighton, Jo Anne Jo Anne Creighton, age 84, of Plymouth, WI passed away peacefully at home Sunday January 18. She is reunited with her dear late husband Richard Creighton. She was born in Chicago, IL and worked at Fannie Mae candy for 30+ years. She also served the Catholic Church teaching religion for 45 years. She is survived by 4 children, Linda (Bill) Custer, Richard (Maria) Creighton, Jane (James) Kunst, John Creighton. She leaves behind 8 loved grandchildren. A time of visitation and support for the family will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 115 Plymouth Street, Plymouth on Friday, January 23 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 4:00 PM with Fr. Daniel Volkert presiding. Special thanks to Dr. Gentine and Dr. Coulis. In lieu of flowers or gifts please donate to Salvation Army. Deetjen, Daryl  
Deetjen, Daryl Daryl L. Deetjen, age 56, of Sheboygan, died unexpectedly Sunday, January 18, 2015. He was born October 3, 1958 in Enterprise, Alabama to Roy and Judith Rust-Deetjen. He was a graduate of Grafton High School and furthered his education at UW-Madison & UW-Platteville. Daryl enjoyed life to the fullest as a very outgoing, gregarious individual. He loved watching the sun rise and set…he loved camping in a tent…fishing…cooking on a bonfire…but, most of all, he loved his dogs, Dusty & Griffon. Daryl is survived by his father, Roy Deetjen; his sister, Diana (Jim) Wiechert; his brother, Donald (Jenny) Deetjen; and his sister, Denise (Glen) Wegge; nieces and nephews, Jeff, Janet, and Julie Wiechert, and Everett Wegge; and his loving friend, Linda Strelow of Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Rust-Deetjen; and his beloved Springer Spaniel, Dusty. In honoring Daryl's wishes, there will be no services.

Deicher, Kenneth  
Kenneth G. Deicher Kenneth G. Deicher, age 84, of Plymouth went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, January 18, 2015 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Center. He was born on June 30, 1930 in Plymouth son of the late Gilbert and Florence (Welling) Deicher. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Grade School and graduated from Plymouth High School in 1948 furthering his education at the UW-Sheboygan. On May 30, 1951 he married Mary Grace Thuermer in Mt. Calvary. She preceded him death on September 9, 2013. Kenneth heard the call of his country and entered the United States Navy and served from 1951 to 1955. Through his military career he served at Memphis Electronic School, Rhode Island Quonset Point Naval Air Station, Brunswick Maine Naval Air Station, British Naval Air Station, and Hal far Malta. During his working years Ken was self employed as a general contractor of Welling, then Deicher Construction. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends boating, hunting, being at the A frame, traveling, and cooking. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, The Holy Name Society, served on Parish Council and Building Committee along with being an usher. He was also a member of The Ladewig-Zinkgraf American Legion Post #243, where he served as commander four times, Naval Air Patrol Squadron 11, the Sheboygan County Home Builders, and the City of Plymouth Planning Commission. He is survived by his children Mary Catherine Deicher (Clark Kaufmann), Mark William (Kathleen) Deicher, Michael Peter Deicher, Phyllis Ann (Jeff) Ladwig, Jennifer Jean (Allan) Morgen, and Carrie Beth (Thomas) Rooker; grandchildren Eliot, Nathan, Willie, Jonny, Mary, Erica, Carly, Maren, Elissa, Jessica, Andrew, Christopher, Justin, and Lizzie; great grandchildren Maggie, Bronx, McCartney, Autumn, Violet, Jacob, Oliver, Sophie, Lucas, and Augustus; sister Jean Koene, and a sister-in-law Joan Mihm. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Mary Grace. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 4:30 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth with the Rev. Daniel Volkert officiating. Following Ken's wishes his cremains will be laid to rest next to his wife in the Parish Cemetery. Friends may call at the church from 2:00 PM until the time of service. Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes of Plymouth has been entrusted with the arrangements. The family would like to thank Dr. George Schroeder and Dr. Mark Bettag along with their staffs and the staff of Rocky Knoll for the wonderful care and concern shown to Kenneth and his family.

Dekker, Martin  
Dekker, Martin Martin John "Marty" Dekker, age 88 passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015. He was born on October 10, 1926 in Sheboygan to parents Matthew and Dena (Leys) Dekker. Marty served proudly in the US Army. Marty was united in marriage on September 15, 1953 to Harriet Heinen at Gibbsville Reformed Church. He worked for 42 years at H.C. Prange Company. Marty was dedicated to helping others. He volunteered at St. Nicholas Hospital and Golden Living Care Center, and drove people in need of rides to medical appointments. Marty was an elder at Christ Community Church, formerly First Christian Reformed Church. Later he helped with bulletin production and enjoyed giving birthday and anniversary cards to members. Marty enjoyed listening to WVCY radio, bowling, working in the yard, and word search puzzles. Martin is survived by five children, Mary Dekker of Oshkosh, WI, Phil (Susie) Dekker of Portland, OR, Gail (Rich) Salm of Madison, WI, Patti (Tim) Dykstra of Byron Center, MI, and Kathy (Ken) Kregel of Jenison, MI; ten grandchildren, Jeff (Sarah) Dekker, Joshua Dekker, Carolyn Dekker, Jason Salm, Kristin (Adam) Gabriel, Kate Dykstra, Chad (Stacy) Dykstra, Ryan (Holly) Kregel, Hannah Kregel and Clayton Kregel; three great-granddaughters, Zoey Kregel, Elise Gabriel and Emma Dykstra; one sister, Dorothy TenPas; one brother, Ted Dekker; one brother-in-law, Warren (Phyllis) Heinen, and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Martin was preceded in death by his parents, loving wife Harriet, brothers; Peter (Rena) (Elsie) Dekker and Danker (Martha) Dekker, sisters; Maude (Gordon) Heinen, Catherine (Rudy) Huizenga and Margaret (Gordon) Hilbelink, brothers-in-law; Elmer (Christina) and Lester (Maude) Heinen and Harold TenPas, and sisters-in-law; Jeanette and Carolyn Heinen and Crystal Dekker. A time of visitation and support will be held on Friday, January 30, at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th Street, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Continued visitation on Saturday, January 31, at Christ Community Church, 428 Geele Ave., from 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Larry Meyer presiding. Dhein, Marion  
Marion E. Dhein Marion Dhein, age 86 of Sherwood, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, January 17, 2015. She was born in Manitowoc on March 22, 1928, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Schiesl) Schmatz. On July 17, 1948, Marion married James Dhein; he preceded her in death in 2004. As a young woman, Marion worked in an office in Manitowoc, but after her marriage remained home as a dedicated wife and mother. There she perfected her baking and cooking, quilting and sewing, stained glass, and other crafting. She and Jim were avid travelers, having visited their homeland in Germany, other places in Europe, and all of the 50 states. She was an active volunteer in the Sherwood area and gave many hours to community service. When her sons were young, she was also a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She is survived by her loving children: David (Jayne) Dhein of Sherwood; Robert (Peggy) Dhein of Sherwood; and Mary Jo Dhein of Phoenix. Marion was completely devoted to the grandchildren she loved so much, and will be missed by her grandchildren: Matthew Dhein, Kathryn Dhein, Megan (Christopher) Martin, Hannah Dhein, Sarah Dhein, and Kelle (Monika Mlynarska) Dhein; and her two great-grandsons: Mason and Mac. She is also survived by two brothers: Joseph (Lois) Schmatz of Kellnersville and Robert (Delores) Schmatz of Manitowoc; three sisters: Betty Musial of Manitowoc; Anna (Milton) Hassemer of Francis Creek; and Frances (Harold) McDonnell of Manitowoc. Jim's family was also a very important part of Marion's life, and she was dearly loved by all of the Dhein family, those who survive, and those who have gone before her. Marion was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jim in 2004, a brother: Arthur Schmatz, and a brother-in-law: Raymond Musial. A private memorial service for Marion is being held this week for the comfort of the family. At a later date, a public celebration of her life will be planned and announced. Eisner, Frieda  
Eisner, Frieda Frieda Eisner age 95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Chilton Care Center where she had been a resident for nine years. She was born on July 31, 1919 in Sheboygan to her late parents Henry and Anna (Maertz) Diener. Frieda attended grade school at Trinity Lutheran technical school in Sheboygan to complete her education. She was united in marriage to Harold Eisner at the Trinity parsonage on August 31, 1940. The couple was married almost 62 years before Harold preceded her in death on June 22, 2002. Frieda was a life-long homemaker and took great satisfaction in being a devoted wife and mother, showering much love on her husband and children. She also took great joy in following the activities of her grandchildren. Frieda was a life-long member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Frieda is survived by her two children, Jim (Joanne) Eisner of Chilton, and Jerry (Eileen) Eisner of Franklin, WI. She is also survived by five grandchildren; Kim Eisner of Chicago, IL, Beth (John) Lee of Broken Arrow, OK, Todd (Andrea) Eisner of Fremont, NE, Mark (special friend Michele) Eisner of Appleton, and Paul Eisner of Pewaukee, four great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Hannah, Sarah and Abagail Lee. Frieda was preceded in death by one sister and six brothers. The family would like to thank Chilton Care Center staff and Dr. Randy Theiler for their fine care and support. A time of visitation and support for the family will be held on Friday, January 23 from 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM at ZIMMER WESTVIEW FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE CENTER, W2132 Garton Road, (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove). Ertel, Loraine  
Ertel, Loraine Loraine M. Ertel, age 87, of Sheboygan, passed away Friday morning, January 9, 2015 at Countryside Manor. She was born November 20, 1927 in West Bend to Walter and Angeline (Bohne) Strean. She was previously married to Wilbert Rosenthal. For a number of years Loraine was employed at Hi Tran in Waubeka. She married John Ertel on August 31, 1985. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1990. Following his death Loraine moved to Merrill, WI. She moved back to Sheboygan in March of 2011. Loraine was a faithful member of Jehovah's Witnesses in Sheboygan. She loved reading, working jigsaw puzzles, watching NASCAR (her favorite racer was Kevin Harvick who won the championship this year) Green Bay Packer football, but especially spending great times with her family. (This included her one beer at meals with them!) Loraine is survived by her children, Jackie Brion of Sheboygan, Jim (Jodi) Rosenthal of Jackson, WI., Jerry (Barbara) Rosenthal of Fillmore, WI, Jesse Rosenthal of Sheboygan, and Judy Rosenthal of Sheboygan Falls; twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Leo and Rosie Strean and a sister and brother-in-law, June and Leo Bertram. A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 26, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3328 North Ave., Sheboygan. Elder Terry Kohls will officiate. A memorial fund has been established in her name. Loraine's family would like to thank the staff at Countryside Manor and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their kindness and care.
