Cody Progar-Wuestenhagen, 21, of Plymouth, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born January 15, 1991 in Sheboygan to Robert Wuestenhagen and Kelly Progar. He graduated from North High School in 2009.
Cody was employed as an auto mechanic for Lima Auto and Salvage.
He loved the outdoors, especially deer hunting and shed hunting. He enjoyed working on cars, including re-building his 1977 Chevy pick-up. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and taking part in the Sheboygan County demolition derby. Cody was also involved with mud-drag racing in his pick-up. He loved to spend time with his niece, and always had a joke to make you laugh. His contagious smile and huge dimples will be missed by all; in the wind he's still alive.
In addition to his parents, Cody is survived by his brother Aaron (Macie) Wuestenhagen, his grandparents; Barb (Jerry) Progar, Nancy (Ron) Boeldt, Richard (Marilyn) Wuestenhagen, his great-grandma Clarice Scharinger, and his niece Kylie Wuestenhagen. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, good friends, and special friend Steph Koenig. He was preceded in death by grandfather Richard Progar and great-grandparents Frank (Katie) Progar and Robert Scharinger.
Funeral Services for Cody will take place Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. at Zimmer's Westview Funeral & Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ Howards Grove). The Reverend Richard Cerpich will officiate. Friends may call on Tuesday, at the funeral home, from 3:00 pm until the time of service. Burial will take place in Greendale Cemetery.
