Linda Ann (Logas) Resop

Linda Ann (Logas) Resop, 67, of Sheboygan, passed away at 5:30am on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She was born May 31, 1946 in Sheboygan to Charles and Luella (Sabrowsky) Logas.

Linda Logas and Robert Resop were united in marriage. He preceded her in death.

She was an all-state clarinetist at La Junta High School in Colorado and a band scholarship recipient from the Colorado State University. Linda received her Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Lakeland College in Plymouth, WI. She taught as a substitute teacher in the Sheboygan Area. Linda is best known as the owner of Someplace Else Tavern, a popular neighborhood gathering place in Sheboygan.

Linda was a member and worker of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

She is survived by a son, Ronald Resop; a grandson, Sheldon Resop; a great-grandson, Jeremiah Resop, all of Sheboygan; a brother, Jeffrey (Laurel) Logas of Bradenton, FL; two sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Logas of Oak Park, IL and Nina Logas of Savoy, IL; three nephews, William Logas, Jr. of Chicago, Daniel (Kristen) Logas of Evanston, IL, and Austin Morgan of Granite City, IL. Linda is further survived by her lifelong friend, Roger Kasten.

In addition to her parents of Granite, IL, Linda was preceded in death by a daughter, Rachaelle Resop of Sheboygan and three brothers: William Logas of Oak Park, IL; Charles Logas Jr. of Granite City, IL; and Gene Logas of Savoy, IL.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, May 9, 2013 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels. Rev. John M. Berg, Associate Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sheboygan, will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm until the time of service.

A memorial fund has been established in Linda's name.

Linda will be sadly missed by her family and many friends.
