On October 25, 1947, Marion was united in marriage with Norman Kimme at St. Peter's Church in the Town of Rhine. Norman preceded her in death on Easter Sunday, March 27, 2005. The couple lived and farmed on the Kimme homestead, which is located in the Town of Sheboygan, their entire married lives. Marion enjoyed fishing year round, but especially on the ice in winter. During the fall and winter she enjoyed hunting in the Kettles and on their farm. Later in life she enjoyed woodcarving, swimming, playing cards, doing crossword puzzles, and volunteering at Trinity Lutheran Church. One of her favorite pastimes was caring for her lawn and spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens.

Marion is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Don Schinke of Sheboygan; one grandson, Ryan of Indianapolis, IN; one sister, Ruth Luecke of Elkhart Lake; one sister-in-law, Violet Hamann of Sheboygan; and nieces and nephews.
