Marjorie May John
Marjorie May John, age 87, of Plymouth went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the Rocky Knoll Health Care Center.
She was born on August 13, 1925 in Waldo daughter of the late Alfred and Olive (Tracy) John.
She attended Waldo Grade School and Waldo High School.
Marjorie made a career and home in the Milwaukee area working as a nanny for several families and waitressing at the Rooster Restaurant for over 42 years. She returned to Plymouth in 1991 to care for her mother.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo, a member of Trinity Methodist Youth Fellowship, and a member of the Waldo Senior Citizens.
She is survived by a brother-in-law William Schultz of the Town of Lyndon, three nieces Cathy (Steve) Helmer, Debra (Robert) Huibregtse, Peggy (Mark) Wiehr, two nephews William Schultz and Ronald (Mary Jo) Schultz along with several great and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents a brother Wesley John and a sister Alice Schultz.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Waldo with the Rev. Renee Dymond officiating. Burial will follow in the Waldo Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Sunday from 12 PM until the time of service. Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes of Plymouth is assisting the family with arrangements.
