Perman, Richard C. "Dick" (1954-2014)

Richard C. "Dick" Perman, age 59, of Plymouth, passed away on Wednesday evening (Feb. 12) at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on September 12, 1954 in Sheboygan, WI, a son of the late Raymond H. and Dorthea M. (Weber) Perman.

He attended Lyman Kindergarten, Trinity Lutheran School, Horace Mann Middle School and graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1973.

Richard served in the U.S. Navy from 1973-1977 during the Vietnam conflict.

He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Lakeland College.

He was employed at Kohler Company for 36 years.

On July 7, 1979 Richard married Mary Ernst at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. The couple resided in Sheboygan and since 1995 in Plymouth.

Survivors include his loving wife of 34 years: Mary of Plymouth; three children: Andrew (Tammi) Perman of Sheboygan, Joseph Perman (Fiancée: Jessica Brading) of Sheboygan Falls and Rebecca Perman (Fiancée: Tyler Morrison) of Plymouth; three grandchildren: Carter and Ellianna Perman and Skylar Perman; two sisters: Jane (Thomas) Schmelter of Sheboygan and Barbara (Robert) Burger of Bellevue, WA; brother and sister-in-laws: Barbara Kirst of Plymouth, Richard (JoAnn) Ernst of Greenbush, Ann (Roger) Schneider of Kewaskum, Lorraine (Gene) Rooker of Plymouth, Linda (Tom) Schwinn of West Bend, Eileen (Roland) Hoftiezer of Plymouth, Robert (Tina) Ernst of Greenbush and Lori Ernst of Fond du Lac.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father-in-law: Raymond and Rosella Ernst; three brother-in-laws: Roger Ernst, Roy Voeller and Ray Kirst and one nephew: Scott Schneider.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday afternoon (Feb. 16) at 4:30 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Elizabeth Jaeger, pastor of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Friends and family may call at the Suchon Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services.

The Plymouth VFW World Cheese Center Post #5612 will conduct military rites following the services.
