Robert Van De Kreeke, age 77, of Sheboygan, went to his Eternal Home Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital-Ozaukee.

Bob was born July 17, 1935 in Sheboygan to Jacob and Marie (Van Stelle) Van De Kreeke. He attended Sheboygan Christian Grade School and was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1953.

On June 16, 1956 Bob and Betty Grosskopf were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church.

For thirty years Bob was employed at Lake to Lake Dairy as a route man. He then worked at Kohler Public Schools as a custodian for thirteen years. Upon retirement from Kohler Public Schools he worked as a courier at National Exchange Bank and Trust in Howards Grove until the present.

He was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

His hobbies included raising and racing homing pigeons with his family and he also enjoyed woodworking projects and yard work.

In addition to his wife, Betty, he is survived by two sons, Jeff of Waukesha, Mike of Sheboygan, and a daughter, Debbie (Scott) Weber of Howards Grove; six grandchildren, Kristin (Joe) Burke of Waukesha, Kelly Van De Kreeke of Chicago, Jason (Sarah) Van De Kreeke of Sheboygan, Brad Van De Kreeke of Appleton, Bryan (Kim) Van De Kreeke of California, and Lexi Weber of Howards Grove; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don (Carol) Van De Kreeke of Kohler and Bill (Janice) Van De Kreeke of Appleton; and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Shirley Van De Kreeke.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Ballhorn Chapels. Rev. Timothy J. Mech, Senior Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Gardens of Peace Mausoleum. A time of visitation and support will be held at Ballhorn Chapels from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
