Ruthe Weber, 90, of Sheboygan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Sunny Ridge Health and Rehabilitation.
Ruthe was born March 14, 1923 in Sheboygan to Otto and Severia (Leahy) Schwalbe.
On April 20, 1946 Ruthe was united in marriage to John G. Weber in Sheboygan. Together they had two sons. He preceded her in death May 23, 1978.
She was employed at Quick Cleaners for 43 years where she really enjoyed talking to customers and friends. Ruthe loved to crochet afghans and especially loved to share them with family and friends.
Ruthe was a resident of Waterview Apartments for over 14 years and enjoyed the friends that she made there. Throughout her marriage she was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Ruthe is survived by her sons, James J. (Gail) Weber of Howards Grove, Larry A. (Pam) Weber of Sheboygan Falls; grandchildren, Michelle (Andrew) Krier of New Berlin, WI, Chad Weber of Sheboygan, Becky (Doug) Eberhardt of DeForest, WI, Robert C. (Jennifer) Weber of Sheboygan Falls; 5 great-grandsons; a sister, Helene Hoffmann of Sheboygan; a sister-in-law, Beatrice Schwalbe of Sheboygan; and other family and friends.
In addition to her parents and her husband, John; she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret Bach; and a brother, Milton Schwalbe.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Ballhorn Chapels. Rev. Timothy J. Mech will officiate. A time of visitation and support will be held Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
