Stacey L. Braatz, age 34 of 1719 N. 35th St. passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Stacey was born on January 10, 1978, a daughter of Dennis and Constance (Waters) Braatz. Growing up in Greenbush she attended Riverview School and Plymouth High School, graduating in 1997.
She had been employed at Rockline and was currently a CNA with Comfort Keepers.
Stacey loved music along with dancing and singing. She had the personal attributes of a genuine and caring person along with being honest and sincere. She had a passion for dolphins and had a wish to one day swim with them. Above all, her greatest love was her six year old son, Ethan. She was a devoted mother and helped in many ways in his classroom. At the time of her death she was in the fourth month of pregnancy.
Stacey is survived by her son, Ethan; her mother, Constance Braatz of Sheboygan; her father, Dennis Braatz (Cheryl) of Sheboygan; her two brothers, Cedric (Anita) Braatz and Nathan Braatz, both of Sheboygan; her paternal grandmother, Louise Braatz of North Fond du Lac; her maternal grandmother, Grace Waters of Fond du Lac; her nieces, Alena, Jada and Hannah and her nephews, Alec, Derek and Caiden; her boyfriend, Steve McCarthy of Sheboygan Falls and a special friend, Scott Steinberg. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends further survive.
She was preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandfathers.
A funeral service for Stacey will be held, 3 P.M., Saturday, January 21, 2012, at the Novak-Ramm-Ziegler Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Jaeger officiating. Burial will be in the Rienzi Cemetery, Fond du Lac. Family and friends may gather at the funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th St. on Saturday from 12 Noon until the time of service at 3 P.M. Burial will take place at Rienzi Cemetery in Fond du Lac at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, January 23.
