Seider, Vera Ann (1948-2013)
Vera Ann Seider, age 64, of Adell, WI, passed away peacefully early Friday morning (March 22) at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls where she had been a resident for the past 4 days.
Vera was born on October 27, 1948 in Sheboygan, WI, a daughter of the late Clarence and Loretta Schmitt Klumb. She attended Random Lake grade Schools and graduated from Random Lake High School in 1966.
On January 14, 1967 she married Gerald Seider at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell. The couple has resided in Adell since their marriage.
Vera owned and operated the Village Barbershop in Adell for over 25 years.
She was a faithful member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell and also belonged to the Adell Athletic Club where she enjoyed keeping and marking score for many ball games.
Vera enjoyed sewing, traveling, reading, golfing and spending as much time as she could at her winter home in Florida. Among her favorite pastimes were watching her daughters, nieces and nephews in all athletic activities.
Survivors include: her loving husband of 47 years: Gerald of Adell, two daughters: Heather Seider (special friend: Rachael Tovar) of West Allis and Rachel Seider (Her Fiancé: Michael Goedheer) of West Allis. Vera was Grandma to every little child and especially to Mitchell and Tucker Hiller.
Three sisters that survive her are: Pat Bley of Belgium, Virginia Hamm-Van Prooien of Sheboygan Falls and Nancy (Richard) Diedrich of Plymouth. One brother-in-law: Richard (Jean) Seider of Kiel.
She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law: Roland and Florence Seider, five brother-in-laws: Mickey Hamm, Loren Bley, Roger Van Prooien, Eugene Meyer and John Seider and one sister-in-law: Donna Meyer.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday Evening (March 26) at 6:00 P.M. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell. Rev. Christopher Seifferlein, pastor of the church will officiate. Cremation has taken place.
Relatives and friends may call at the CHURCH on Tuesday from 3:00 P.M. until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Vera's name for the Emmanuel Lutheran Church Centennial Fund.
