Cantrall, Walter R.

Walter R. Cantrall, age 76, of Glenbeulah, WI, passed away late Wednesday Evening (Dec. 5) at Plymouth Care Center where he had been a resident for the last 4 months.

Walter was born on October 30, 1936 in Dawson, Illinois a son of the late Edward and Agnes Thornly Cantrall.

Walter graduated from Cuba High School in Illinois.

He served in the United States Army from 1958-1964.

On November 26, 1955, he married Carolmae Grams at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. The couple resided in Illinois after their marriage moving to Sheboygan County in 1978 and has resided in Glenbeulah for the past 20 years.

He was employed at Cornell Motors (Know known as Burkart Ford) for 10 years retiring in 1993.

His wife preceded him in death on July 26, 2003.

Walter enjoyed fixing cars, fishing, camping, trains, Indian Powwows and spending time with his loving grandchildren.

Survivors include: Six Children: Jeffrey Cantrall (wife: Rosalind Hill) of Manulis, New York, Kevin and Edgar Cantrall both of Plymouth, Sandra Reinhardt of Elkhart Lake, Cynthia Cantrall of Plymouth and Jodi Cantrall of Marinette, WI; Seven Grandchildren: Patrick, Brenda, Veronica, Heather, Karl, Alex and Greg; Two Great Grandchildren: Mercedes and Grant; Two Brothers: Paul (Carol) Cantrall of Smithfield, Illinois and James Cantrall of Ellisville, Illinois; Special Friends: John and Alice Jones of Marietta, IL.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, One Brother: Dave; two sister-in-laws: Fran and Virginia, three nephews: Jim, Paul and Richard.

Following Walter's wishes, cremation has taken place and relatives and friends can share memories and stories at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday (Dec. 9).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Walter's name.
