Barbara Royseck, 94, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at MeadowView Manor.
Barbara was born to Louis and Goldie (Coban) Katusic on May 14, 1918 in Ironwood, Michigan. At a young age she came with her family to Sheboygan. On April 1, 1948 she was united in marriage to Frank Royseck in Milwaukee, he preceded her in death.
Barbara enjoyed a variety of activities which included, sewing, baking, crafts and dancing the Polka. She also enjoyed many trips to Hawaii and Croatia and the time spent at her Eagle River lake home.
Barbara was a member of Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, the Croatian Fraternal Union and volunteered at the Senior Center.
Barbara, a loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Margaret Royseck of Sturgeon Bay; a daughter, Susan Rozeski of Muskego; her grandchildren, Paul (Abigail) Rozeski and Matt (Leah) Rozeski; her five great-grandchildren and her sisters, Rose Klamer and Agnes Zlodi both of Sheboygan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews and other family. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a brother Louis Katusic, a sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Robert Zawacki and brothers-in-law, Louis Klamer and Jospeh Zlodi .
A memorial Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday, October 20 at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church with Rev. Daniel Lasecki as celebrant. Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church, 822 New Jersey Ave. on Saturday, October 20 from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at 11 a.m.
