Glenzer, Caroline

Caroline Glenzer, age 79, of Cascade passed away unexpectedly Monday evening (April 15th) at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan.

She was born on December 13, 1933 in Sheboygan, WI, a daughter of the late Arno and Lolo Radtke Damrow.

Caroline attended Plymouth area Grade Schools.

On June 20, 1970 she married Gerald Glenzer in Waukegan, IL. The couple has resided in the Town of Mitchell for 23 years, the Town of Osceola for 15 years, then in Cascade.

She worked for the Shoe Factory in Campbellsport for several years, was a custodian for Lady of Angels Catholic Church in Armstrong for 10 years as well as Camp Vista in the Town of Osceola for 11 years. She enjoyed dancing, fishing and gardening.

Survivors include her loving husband of 42 years: Gerald of Cascade, Three children: Melvin (Carole) Oakley of Plymouth, Sue Ann (Terry) VanAkkeren of Sheboygan, William (Vanessa) Oakley of Sheboygan, Thirteen grandchildren,Twenty three great grandchildren, Three step sons: Gene (Kay) Glenzer of Sheboygan, Larry Glenzer of Sheboygan and Ronald Weber of Howards Grove, One step daughter: Gayle Sebold of Sheboygan, Two step grandchildren, Two sisters: Bonnie Garcia of Fond du Lac and Barb of Sheboygan.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters: Irene and Betty and one infant brother.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday afternoon (April 20) at 4:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Rev. Sharon York, pastor of Christian Life Assembly of God Church in Plymouth will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

Friends and relatives can call at the Suchon Funeral Home from 2:00 P.M. on Saturday until the time of services.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Caroline's name.
