David W. Torke, age 79, of 402 1st Avenue Adell, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center.

He was born in Adell on January 31, 1933 son of the late Walter and Mildred (Weinhold) Torke.
David was a graduate of Plymouth High School.
On June 27, 1959 he married Caroline Graskamp in Cedar Grove.
He was a life long member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell where he served as an Elder for many years.
Through his working career he worked for the Adell Coop and later worked for the Pemco Company in Sheboygan as a machinist.
When he was not at work David truly enjoyed camping with his family especially up North and Kohler-Andre State Park.
He is survived by his loving wife Caroline of Adell, a daughter Sherri (Daniel) Uelmen, two grandchildren Dan (Rachel) Uelmen, Samantha Uelmen all of Random Lake, a great grandson Carson Uelmen, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jim and Judy Huenink. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Raymond.
Funeral services will be held at 6 PM on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Adell with the Rev. Christopher Seifferlein officiating. Burial will take place Thursday morning in the Emmanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Adell. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 4 PM until the time of service. Schneider Funeral Home & Life Tributes of Plymouth is assisting the family with arrangements.
A memorial fund has been established in the name of David W. Torke for Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
