Erma V. Brunette, (92) of Sheboygan passed away on April 17, 2013 just two months before her 93rd birthday at Azura Memory Care in Sheboygan with her daughter and granddaughter at her side. Erma was born on June 15, 1920 in Callaway, Minnesota a daughter to the late Homer and Mary Rose (Spry) Bisson.

She grew up and attended schools in Minnesota coming to the Sheboygan area after high school. On June 13th, 1942 she was united in marriage to Roland Brunette. Erma was employed with the Kohler Company and following her retirement from there worked at Piggly Wiggly in the deli. Erma enjoyed to travel and playing poker and bingo. She always cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. Erma was the beloved mother of 6 children, Gary Brunette of Sheboygan, Richard (Linda) Brunette of Sheboygan, Beverly (Gordon) McLenaghan of Mt. Prospect, IL, Joseph Brunette of Sheboygan, Mary (Calvin) Soyk of Sheboygan, and James (Kim) Brunette of Sheboygan.

Erma is survived by her children, 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, her two brothers, Marcel Bisson and Robert (Connie) Bisson, both of Fond du Lac, and many nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Roland who passed in 1983, her sister Dorothy Feustel, brothers Adolph, Norvin, and Warren and an infant brother Dwayne.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 12:00 P.M. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1444 S. 11thSt., Sheboygan with Rev. Paul Fliss, officiating. Family and friends may call at the church on Thursday morning from 10:00A.M.until the time of Mass at 12:00P.M. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation in Erma's name.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the compassionate care provided by the entire staff of Azura Memory Care as well as the staff at Grace Hospice.
