Green, Glen R (1946-2014)

Glen R. Green, age 67, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away on January 9, 2014 from his brief battle with cancer.

Glen was born on December 26, 1946 in Sheboygan, WI, a son to the late Robert and Vera "Jean" (Askew) Green.

He graduated from Howards Grove High School in 1965.

Glen served in the U.S. Navy from 1965-1969.

On August 18, 1968, he married Cheryl Karbe in Sheboygan. The couple lived in Sheboygan area after their marriage and in Sheboygan Falls since 2007.

He retired from Plastics Engineering after 32 years and then worked at J.L. French for 11 years.

Glen's hobby and passion was racing and helping to build race cars and loved fishing.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years: Cheryl; Children: Jeff (Kris) Green, Mike Green, Kim (Terry) Beeck and Travis Green; Grandson: Justin (Amanda) Green and One brother: Russ (Tanya) Green.

He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Green.

A casual gathering to celebrate Glen's life will be held on Saturday, (January 18, 2014) from 11:00-3:00 P.M. at My Place Bar & Grill in Sheboygan. Friends are asked to bring memories and stories of Glen with them.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Glen's name.
