Nancy Ann Rose, age 64, of Sheboygan, passed away Wednesday evening, April 24, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born March 3, 1949 in Manitowoc to Leroy and Phyllis (Schmalfeldt) Boldt. She attended schools in Kiel and was a graduate of Sheboygan South High School, Class of 1967.
On May 4, 1968 Nancy and Gerald Rose were united in marriage at St. John's UCC in Sheboygan.
For a number of years Nancy was employed at various factories in the Sheboygan area. She was first and foremost a homemaker and caregiver for her family. Nancy literally lived for her children and their welfare and she was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Nancy's hobbies included knitting and crocheting beautiful things for her family.
In addition to her husband, Gerald, she is survived by her daughter, Dawn (David Goll) Rose of Sheboygan; three grandchildren, Crystal Rose, Mellony (William) Goddard, and Jon Rose all of Sheboygan; six great-grandchildren, Charles, Matthew, Natasha, Emily, Andrew, and Luke; three brothers, Glen (Linda) Boldt of Sheboygan, Richard (Kathy) Boldt of Kiel, and David (Starr) Boldt of Plymouth; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Rose.
A memorial gathering in celebration of Nancy's life will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels from 5:00 p.m. to7:00 p.m. at which time Nancy Simenz, Chaplain of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice will offer words of comfort.
A memorial fund has been established in the name of Nancy Ann Rose.
