Ray moved to Marshfield, WI and graduated from Marshfield Senior High, Class of 1962.

He married the love of his life, Carol Bever at St. John's Catholic Church on October 12, 1963.

In April of 1966 Ray was hired at Kohler Company which brought them to Sheboygan, WI.

Ray was an avid sports fan, following the Badgers, Packers, and Brewers, his love for sports was really instilled in his children. He mentored and followed them in football, baseball, wrestling, and softball, never missing their games. He followed the athletes of North High School and was well known to the kids as "Super Fan." Ray was a permanent fixture in the stands at North, especially during football season. His seat in the bleachers at North High has a plaque in memory of "'Raider Ray' our favorite 'Super Fan.'"

He worked at Kohler Company, retiring after 38 years of service. He was also a proud member of the UAW Local 833, acting as a union steward and member of the Woman's and Organizing committees. After retirement he continued to follow the North High Raider athletes. Together, Ray, Carol and their son, Scott enjoyed making canned pickles and homemade salsa and sharing them with family and friends.

Ray is survived by his wife, Carol; children, Scott Robinson, Carie (Steve) Ninnemann, Jason (Lynn) Robinson; grandchildren, Steven Jr (Trisha), Samantha Rae (Richie), Tre', Kierra, and Meeja; great-grandchildren Gavin, Aiden, and Maddilynn.
