Sandra M. Toston, 59 of Sheboygan passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her home with her loving family beside her.
Sandy was born on May 24, 1953 in Sheboygan a daughter to Raymond and Jeanette (Piaskowski) Lane. She attended schools in Sheboygan and graduated from Sheboygan North High School. She received degrees in Human Resources from Silver Lake College. On September 1, 1973 she was united in marriage to Leon Toston. Sandy was the Human Resources Generalist at the Mayline Company. Sandy had a passion for gardening and was a member of the Master Gardeners. As a gardener she spent many volunteer hours at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center. Sandy also played in various Bridge clubs.
Sandy is survived by her husband Leon "Lenny", three children, Derk (Shelly) Toston, Joshua Toston and Amanda Boor all of Sheboygan; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; her mother, Jeanette Lane of Sheboygan; nine brothers and sisters, Karen (Dave) Ward of Washington, Mary (Dennis) Grapentine of Sheboygan, David (Lois) Lane of Muskego, Therese (William) Berg of Sheboygan, Brian Lane (special friend, Vicky) of Madison, Thomas (Jodie) Lane of Milwaukee, Jacqueline Lillesand of Sheboygan, Sara (Thomas) Rogers of Sheboygan and Steven (Bethany) Lane of Rhode Island and a sister-in-law, Jolene Toston of Sheboygan. Nieces, nephews and other family members further survive. She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Lane in 2001, a niece, Tina Lane and her brother-in-law, Jeffrey Lillesand.
A funeral service for Sandy will be held at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home on Monday, April 22 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul Fliss officiating. Inurnment will take place in the Calvary Mausoleum. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home, 1535 S. 12th St. on Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. and on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
In preference to flowers memorials in Sandy's name are appreciated.
