Shirley A. Kraemer, age 69 of Plymouth, WI, passed away peacefully (April 21) surrounded by her loving family at her home. Shirley was born on October 13, 1942 in Glenbeulah, WI a daughter of the late James and Vera Webb Mullen. She attended Glenbeulah Public Grade Schools and graduated from Elkhart Lake High School in 1961. On October 7, 1961, Shirley married Melvin William Kraemer at St. Fridolin's Parish in Glenbeulah, WI. The couple has resided in Plymouth since their marriage.

Shirley was employed at the A & P Cheese Warehouse and Great Lakes Cheese Company in Plymouth retiring in 2006. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth and the Christian Women Society helping with serving funeral luncheons at Church. Shirley served as a Den Mother for a campfire Group, was an active member of a Knitting Club for many years, enjoyed volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul Society and at Aurora Plymouth Clinic and was a "world class" Grandmother.
Her home was known for the house on Western Avenue with the seasonal decorations. Survivors include: Her loving husband of 50 years: Melvin of Plymouth, two Daughters: Kelly Kozak of Oak Creek and Laura Kraemer (Marie Johnson) of Milwaukee, Her Granddaughter: Melanie Kozak of Oak Creek, Two Sisters: Mary (Bernard) Basler of Plymouth, Donna (Allen) Bramstedt of Howards Grove, One Brother: Dale (Kathy) Mullen of San Rafael, CA, Three Brothers-in-law: Fred (Sandie) Kraemer of Elkhart Lake, Allen (Lynn) Kraemer of Howards Grove and David (Karen) Kraemer of Salina, KS, One Sister-in-law: Rosie Bender of Kiel She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, one sister: Phyllis Thiessen and Her husband: Arthur and Brother-in-law: James Bender.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday Evening (April 24) at 6:30 P.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Plymouth. Father Dennis Van Beek, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas South Cemetery in Greenbush. Friends may call at the CHURCH on Tuesday Afternoon from 3:30 P.M. until the time of Services.
