Dickfoss, Wayne N.

After a sixteen month courageous battle with cancer and surrounded by family, Wayne N. Dickfoss, 78, of Sheboygan, went to be with his Lord on Monday, October 22, 2012.

Wayne was born October 31, 1933 in Sheboygan to William and Margaret (Latisch) Dickfoss.

He attended various Sheboygan schools and North High School.

On December 10, 1955 Wayne and Kay Goldman were united in marriage.

Wayne was employed with Plastics Engineering for over 45 years until his retirement.

He enjoyed traveling, woodworking, which involved making themed birdhouses, and riding his motorcycles, especially with the Sheboygan Motorcycle Club.

In addition to his wife, Kay, he is survived by two daughters, Cindy (William) Fale and Christy (Thomas) Brunette; four grandchildren, Drew (special friend, Peggy) Pilz, Kayla (Joshua) Baker, Travis and Trevor Brunette; two great-grandchildren, Taelor Baker and Nicholas Baker, who is to be born on Wayne's birthday, October 31, 2012; three brothers, James Dickfoss, Thomas (Rita) Dickfoss, and Kevin (Gail) Dickfoss; a sister, Patricia Paasch; a sister-in-law, Kathy (Richard) Welsch; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Launer; two brothers, Tim and Terry Dickfoss; and infant granddaughter, Sarah Pilz.

A celebration of life and sharing of memories will be held for Wayne on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Praise Fellowship Church on 2313 N. 31st Street, Sheboygan.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.

Wayne's family sends a heartfelt thank you to the caregivers of St. Nicholas Hospice, especially Terri, and Dr. Bettag and staff for the compassion and care shown to him.
