Glorian M. Lechler
Glorian M. Lechler, 78, of Kiel, died on Monday evening, March 3, 2014 at Libby's House, Chilton.
She was the former Glorian Raquet, born October 12, 1935 in Sheboygan, daughter of the late Pat & Elsie (Feile) Raquet.
Glorian attended Rockville Grade School and was a 1954 graduate of Kiel High School.
On May 21, 1955 she was united in marriage to Ray Lechler at St. Peters United Church of Christ, Kiel. Glorian and Ray spent 54 years together until his death on November 8, 2009.
She worked in the packaging Department at Lake to Lake until her retirement.
Glorian was a member of St. Peters United Church of Christ, Kiel where she was active with the Womens Guild, sang in the choir and was a counselor at Moon Beach Camp.
She enjoyed sewing, crafts & embroidery as well as playing the piano & accordion.
Survivors include her brother; Gordon (Rosemary) Raquet, rural Kiel, her in-laws; Grace (Leon) Mueller, rural Kiel, Doris Gross, Kiel, Lila Lechler, New Holstein, Marianne Lechler (Art Look), Chilton, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, nephews, John & Paul Raquet, and brothers-in-law, Nelson Lechler, Steve Gross, Eugene Lechler & Roy (Arlene) Lechler.
Funeral services for Glorian will be held at 6:00 pm, Friday, March 7, 2014 at St. Peters United Church of Christ, 424 Fremont St., Kiel with Rev. Judine Duerwaechter officiating.
Burial will take place in Schleswig Cemetery, Rockville.
Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 4:00 pm until the time of service.
