Marilyn J. (Krizizke) Lenhardt
Marilyn J. Lenhardt, 68 of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on April 27, 2014, at Home with her Family present after a lengthy time with a terminal illness.
Marilyn was born on November 10, 1945, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to Edwin A. and Eunice (Tomcheck) Krizizke. She received her high school diploma from Washington High School in Two Rivers, WI. After High School Marilyn enlisted into the US Army WAC Medical Corp in 1964. During this time she again met and later married childhood friend Lawrence (Larry) R. Lenhardt on November 23, 1968 in Two Rivers, WI. They had two children, Kimberly Ann Lenhardt and Wendy Jo Lenhardt.
Following their marriage, Marilyn and Larry moved to Fond Du Lac, WI, and from there she moved with her Husband to Sheboygan, WI where Marilyn pursed her passion to be a Cosmetologist, eventually owning and operating HairPort Designers for the last 30+ years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and traveling in her spare time.
Marilyn is survived by her husband, Lawrence Lenhardt, children Kimberly and (Chuck) Schur of Lannon, WI., and Wendy and (Travis) Gensch of New Berlin, WI. Her grandchildren are Addison Gensch of New Berlin, and Carson and Tyler Schur of Lannon, WI. She is further survived by her brother and Sister-in laws Roy A. & Sherry Lenhardt Jr. of Brownsville, WI and Cheryl and Jim Hankwitz of Milwaukee as well as Don & Debbie Kozlowski, Tom & Sandy Becker, Keith and Sherrie Guetschow of Two Rivers, Nancy Swaboda of Manitowoc and Sharon & Lee Kozlowski, of Hernando, FL, who took her in as their sister, as well as numerous Nieces and Nephews across the US. She was preceded in death by her Parents Edwin & Eunice Krizizke, Sister Janice Kocian, and an infant Brother.
Marilyn was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Marilyn will be celebrated on Saturday May 3, 2014, at St Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1535 S. 12th St., Sheboygan with Father Paul Fliss, officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 9:00 A.M. until the time of Mass at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at Union Grove Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated and will be forwarded to Aurora Hospice of Sheboygan in Marilyn's name for all the compassion and support they have shown Marilyn and Larry during these difficult and challenging times.
