Weber, Ruth A.
Ruth A. Weber passed away on April 30, 2014 after an extended illness. Ruth was born on February 3, 1929 to Oscar and Ella (Krueger) Kausler in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.
On August 16, 1947 she married the love of her life, Gordon D. Weber. She had two children, Karen and Daniel. In 1972 she and Gordon purchased land in Athelstane, Wisconsin and built their cabin. They spent many happy times there.
Ruth worked as a nurse's aide at St. Nicholas Hospital for almost 30 years and worked in all the nursing areas. She loved being a nurse's aide and spoke frequently of her time there.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Karen, and her grandchildren, Jennifer Noel, April (Kevin)Weber-Stapelkamp, Kristin (Tim) Peaine, Daniel, and Breanne. She also is survived by her former daughter-in-law, LuAnn Wilke, sisters-in-law, LaVonne (Paul) Humberson and Eloise Kausler, and brother-in-law, Glen Weber, as well as cousins, Ronald (Bonnie) Miller, Diana Hameister, Gary (MaryAnn) Kohlhagen, Richard (Elizabeth) Friedl, and Allen (Judy) Greger.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon, her son, Daniel, her granddaughter, Cali, her parents, and her brother, Kenneth.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of St. Nicholas Hospital Hospice, especially Sara Lehmann, Terri Sterzen, and Sara Hester-Johnson.
A private memorial service will be held for the family on Monday, May 5, 2014.
