Muecke, Judith J. (1941-2014)

Judith J. "Judy" Muecke, age 72, of Cascade, WI.

Passed away early Friday evening (May 2, 2014) at Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center after a lengthy illness.

She was born on June 3, 1941 in Town of Sherman, WI a daughter of the late Merril and Lucille Buss Skelton. Judy attended Plymouth area grade schools and Plymouth High School.

On March 7th, 1959 she married Gerhard "Gary" Muecke at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Cascade. They have resided in Parnell for the last 35 years.

The couple owned and operated the Parnell Tavern for the past 35 years.

Judy enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cooking, going out to eat, animals and spending time with her loving family.

Survivors include: Her husband of 55 years: Gary of Parnell, Four children: Cheryl Muecke (Dan Nanz) of Campbellsport, Brad (Patty) Muecke of Sheboygan, Carol (Kevin) Meyer of New Holstein and Chris Muecke (Ernie Flores) of Adell.

Five grandchildren: Nicole, Heather and Rachel Muecke and Josh (Meg) Meyer and Shannon Meyer and One grandson: Thomas Newcomb.

Four Sisters and Brothers: Barb (Dave) Jurs of

Plymouth, Jim (Kay) Skelton of Lac du Flambeau, Mary Skelton of Sheboygan and Rick (Lori) Skelton of Oklahoma.

One Brother-in-law: Herbert Muecke of Fredonia and One Sister-in-law: Barbara Reinke of Sheboygan Falls.

Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and Mother and Father-in-law: Lucille and Johan Muecke.

Following Judy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held at a later time. Memorials can be made in Judy's name for the or St. Judes Hospital.
