William E. "Bill" Walton

William E. "Bill" Walton, age 58 of Hartford passed away early Wednesday morning at Kathy Hospice in West Bend. Bill was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 4, 1955 to William E. Sr. and Rita (Waltkas) Walton. The Walton family moved to Wisconsin in 1967. Bill was a 1973 graduate of Sheboygan North High School prior to graduating from Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa. He married the former Mary Beth Marsho on August 19, 1978 at the chapel in the old St. Nicholas Hospital. Bill and Mary Beth have known each other since the 7th grade. They started out as good friends and realized 10 years later that they were meant to be together for life.

Bill worked in various retail management positions over the years before working at S. Abraham & Sons, Inc. out of Grand Rapids, Michigan as a merchandiser.

Survivors include his loving wife of 35 years Mary Beth; mother Rita (Jerry) Smith of Houghton Lake, MI; sister Sue (Craig) Manske if Hinsdale, IL; father-in-law and mother-in-law Dr. Bernard and Barbara Marsho; brother-in-law Dr. Patrick (Ann) Marsho; sister-in-law Roberta (Jerry) Norcia and brothers-in-law Timothy (Patti) Marsho and Steven (Joan) Marsho. Bill is further survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his father William E. Walton Sr.; brother-in-law Michael S. Marsho and a niece Mary Kathleen Salzwedel.

Private family services will be held.
