Margaret M. "Marge" Reiser

Margaret M. "Marge" Weninger Reiser, 84, of 2310 Pleasant Ave. New Holstein died Sunday May 25, 2014 at Calumet Medical Center after suffering a stroke at her home.

She was born on January 7, 1930 in Chilton daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Kampfer) Weninger.

Marge was a 1947 graduate of Chilton High School. On June 11, 1955 she was united in marriage to LeRoy "Roz" Reiser at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Chilton.

Marge had worked at Knauf & Tesch and the Register of Deeds Office in Chilton before starting her family.

She loved the time she could spend with her children and grandchildren. Marge also enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bridge, Strong Women's Club, reading, and Friday night Fish Fry's with the girls. She belonged to the Calumet Medical Center Auxiliary, the American Legion Auxiliary and the Calumet Homestead Auxiliary. Marge volunteered at the Salvatorian Mission Warehouse and was a Greeter and an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein.

Survivors include her children; Russ Reiser, Appleton, Ken (Connie) Reiser, McHenry, IL., Cindy (Mark) Ausloos, Plymouth, Scott (Michele) Reiser, Antioch, IL. her grandchildren; Sierra, Brittany, Jesse and Marcus Reiser, Kyle, Abby Jo and Breia Ausloos, Joe, Ashley and Amy Reiser, step grandson; Rodney Minner.

Marge is further survived by two brothers; LeRoy Weninger, Chilton and Joseph (Sandy) Weninger, Fond du Lac, a sister-in-law; Georgie Vollstedt, Kiel.

Funeral Mass for Marge will be celebrated on Friday May 30, 2014 at 5:00pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church (1724 Madison St. New Holstein) with Fr. Harold Berryman officiating assisted by Parish Director Joe Zenk. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Friday from 2:00pm until 4:45pm when we will have brief family rites.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in her name.

Marge's family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, paramedics and staff at Calumet Medical Center along with Kathy Nagel for all their help during this time. They would also like to thank Fr. Harry, Joe Zenk, and John Vollstedt for their kindness and support.
