William J. Price

William J. Price, age 78, of Sheboygan, died on May 30, 2014 at Sheboygan Progressive Care Center. He was born in Sheboygan on October 22, 1935 the son of the late Burt and Johanna Doelder Price.

William attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. On October 28, 1967 he was united in marriage to Ruth Jones in Sheboygan. He was employed at Sheboygan Paper Box for over forty-five years, retiring as a foreman.

William was a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of the Travelers Protection Agency. He enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia, photography and cooking out for family and friends. William was also an avid Green Bay Packer and Chicago Cubs fan as well.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth, of Sheboygan; a son, Greg Price, of Baltimore, MD; a step-son, Dennis (Patsy) Gorr, of Bullhead City, AZ; a step-daughter, Deborah Martinez, of Oakdale, CA; grandchildren, Tyler (Kendra) Whipple, of Sun Prairie, WI, Michael Martinez, Stephanie Martinez, both of Campbell, CA, Daniel Price, Randi Price-Black; five great-grandchildren, Anisa, Jalen, Logan, Julie and Daniel; a special nephew, John (Kris) Jensema; a cousin, Jean Runkel and a sister-in-law, Midge Walesh. He is further survived by many other relatives and friends. William was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Hannah Jensema and by his two brothers, Tony and Ed Price.

A funeral service for William will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Chapel, 7411 Saulk Trail Rd, Town of Wilson with Rev. Alan D. Kubow, officiating. Family and friends may call at the chapel from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service at 1:00 P.M. An entombment will take place.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in William's name. The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reinboldfh.com
