Doris Myer Obituary
Doris M. Myer, age 72, formerly of St. Cloud, WI , passed away Early Wednesday Evening (June 27) at her daughter's home in Sheboygan Falls.
She was born on September 30, 1939, in Sheboygan, WI a daughter of the late William and Hazel Ernstbrunner Richter.
She attended St. Clement Catholic Grade School in Sheboygan.
On October 1, 1959, she married Kenneth E. Myer Sr. in Waukegan, Illinois. The couple lived most of their married life in Sheboygan County.
Doris was employed at Bemis Manufacturing Company in Sheboygan Falls for 32 years retiring in 2001. She was also a member of the Bemis Twenty-five year club.
She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her loving family.
Her husband preceded her in death on January 5, 2012.
Survivors Include: Two Daughters: Karen Myer of Sheboygan Falls, Kolleen Myer (Special friend: Randy Roesel) of Sheboygan Falls; One Son: Kenneth Myer, Jr. (Special Friend: Kim) of Elmhurst, Illinois; Special family friend: Sheryl Myer of St. Cloud, WI ; Eight Grandchildren: David, Stacey, Kenny III, Tiffany, Alyssa, James Newman, Jr., John Newman, Christopher Ertel; One Great Granddaughter: Samantha Rain-Hecker Newman; Four Sisters: Judy (Allan) Olson of Sheboygan; Carol (Tom) Felde of Sheboygan, Patty (Roger ) Schmidt of Alvin, WI, Kathy (Wilmer) Roller of Sheboygan; Two sister-in-laws: Louise Dahms of Milwaukee, Maxine (Bud) Wamser of Jackson, WI.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother: Bill Richter, two brother-in-laws and two sister-in-laws.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday (July 3) at 12: 00 Noon at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, WI. Burial will follow at the Veterans Cemetery next to her husband.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
