Robert G. Harrison, Jr. 68, of 5146 Skylark Drive, passed away Monday evening, August 13, 2012 at St. Nicholas Hospital.

Born September 23, 1943 in Chippewa Falls, WI, Robert was a son of the late Robert G. and Roselyn Messing Harrison, Sr. Bob graduated from Northwestern High School in Maple, WI, class of 1961.

Following his graduation Bob enlisted in the US. Air Force and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. He was awarded a purple heart and several other service related medals. Bob was a member of VFW Post 9156.

On January 14, 1967, he was united in marriage to Lois Twa in Sheboygan, WI. Lois preceded him in death on February 10, 2009.

Bob was self employed as a fire protection designer and installer with his business located in California. Bob and Lois moved to Sheboygan in 1996. Bob enjoyed woodworking.

He is survived by two sons, Donald (Mary) Harrison, Sheboygan, and Douglas (Ginger) Harrison, Pleasant Dale, NE; three grandchildren, Chris Harrison, Crystal Maertz and Ryan Harrison. He is further survived by five brothers and sisters, Ron (Jan) Harrison of Boulder Junction, WI, Shelley (Al) Toutenhoofd, Sheboygan, Roger (Marilynne) Harrison, Shell Lake, WI, Robin Harrison of Rhinelander, WI, Gloria (Chuck Paulsen) Harrison of Fredonia; one sister in law Linda Meyer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Lois, a sister and brother-in-law Randee and Doran Farnum, his parents and his mother-in-law, Florence Hinz.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2012, at the Lippert-Olson Funeral Home, 1132 Superior Ave. Relatives and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until the time of service. Following cremation, inurnment will take place in Central Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, King, WI with full military honors.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in his name.
