Herbert W. Haack, Jr., 61, of Sheboygan passed away at his home on Tuesday morning, November 13, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer.
Herbert was born May 20, 1951 in Sheboygan, a son of the late Herbert and Ruth (Zirke) Haack, Sr. He attended schools in Sheboygan graduating from Sheboygan South High School in 1969 and then attended UW-Sheboygan. On February 22, 1992 he was united in marriage to Kelly Widra at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He had been employed with Sheboygan Glass for 30 years. At the time of his retirement due to ill health he was employed with Sheboygan Falls Glass. He had also been employed part-time at Kwik Trip and Woodlake Market. He was an avid Green Bay Packer and Milwaukee Brewer fan.
Herbert was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church
Herbert is survived by his wife, Kelly, his children, Austin, Kelsey and Kyle Haack all of Sheboygan; a granddaughter, Emma; two sisters, Connie (Paul) Dekker of Cedar Grove and Kathy (Richard) Lammers of Hazelwood, MO; his mother-in-law, Janice Widra of Sheboygan and sisters-in-law, Kristi (Jim) Holler and Kerri Widra both of Sheboygan. He was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Earl Widra.
A memorial service for Herbert will be held 6 p.m., Friday, November 16 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church with Rev. Alan D. Kubow officiating. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may gather at the church, 1121 Georgia Ave. on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m.

Kelly and her family would like to thank the nurses of the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and the staff at the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic for the care and compassion given to Herbert.
