Jeanette L. Gartmann, age 93, of Sheboygan passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Jeanette was born January 8, 1919 in the Town of Sheboygan Falls to the late John and Mildred (Koerner) Goell.

Jeanette attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from Central High School in 1936. On November 19, 1938 she was united in marriage to Harold C. Gartmann at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He preceded her in death on June 2, 1999. She worked at Ross Glove prior to her employment at Lakeland Manufacturing for fifteen years. Jeanette volunteered at Bethesda for 28 years, she enjoyed gardening, crafts, playing cards and making hundreds of pillowcase dolls.

Survivors include her two sons, Alan (Barbara) Gartmann, William (Helga) Gartmann; daughter-in-law, Sharon Gartmann all of Sheboygan; grandchildren, Dawn (Steve) Roe, Debi Kaboord, David Gartmann, Jon Gartmann, Brad Gartmann, Benjamin Gartmann, Jolene Gartmann; great-grandchildren, Joshua (special friend Allie Brotz) Gartmann, Lucas (Betsy) Roe, Victoria (Derek) Harmelink, Kyle (Anna) Kaboord, Bridget Gartmann; great great-grandchildren, Dexter Harmelink and Sawyer Roe; three step-grandchildren, Cindy, Tammy and Nancy; seven step-great grandchildren and twelve step-great great grandchildren. Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Rodney and a great grandson, Tyler Kaboord.

A funeral service for Jeanette will be held on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 4:00 P.M. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1614 S. 23rd St., Sheboygan with Rev. Christian F. Gugel, officiating. Family and friends may call at the church from 2:00 P.M. until 3:45 P.M. Burial will take place at Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Jeanette's name. Her family would like to thank the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, Dr. Stillwell and his staff at Marsho Medical and Dr. Matthews for all the compassion and care that was given to her.
